Want to see The Wrathskellar for free? [Oct. 21st, 2010|11:24 am]
open minded boston

Want to see The Wrathskellar for free? Want to be part of a new and unique theatrical experience?

We need box office volunteers for The Wrathskellar from October 26 through October 31 at The Cambridge YMCA Theater (820 Mass. Ave., Cambridge at Central Sq.). We especially need volunteers for Friday, October 29, Saturday, October 30, and Sunday, October 31. Spend Halloween with The Boston Babydolls! We do not need volunteers on Wednesday, October 27.

You need to be at the theater before 7 p.m. and sit in the box office booth from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., then you can watch the show. You need to be able to do simple math, handle money, and be pretty good with people.

If you're interested, please email TheScoop [at] Boston Babydolls [dot] net with your name, contact information, and the date(s) you'd like to help out.

If you're not of an altruistic bent and just want to buy tickets, you can do that too...

[OT] Seeking a Couple of Key Volunteers [Mar. 26th, 2010|09:10 pm]
open minded boston

The Great Burlesque Expo is coming up next weekend (April 2-4) and we are woefully short on staff, especially in the crucial Friday morning set-up times and the Sunday post-show takedown times.

If you're interested in learning about how to hang and focus theater lights and run cable for them, or in seeing what goes on in the backstage of The Expo, this is a great experience. Heck, it's a great experience anyway, with lots of cookies, delicious beverages, and interesting people.

We really, really, need a couple of people Friday morning, April 2 at 9 a.m., and Sunday night starting around 10 p.m. The Expo is at The Hyatt Regency Hotel, 575 Memorial Dr., Cambridge MA (where Arisia was).

People who volunteer get adulation, a cool t-shirt (see left), and get to sneak in and see the shows. Crash space is possible if your part of the overnight crew.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or head over to http://www.i-volunteeronline.com/burlesque-expo.asp to sign up!

About Michelle L'Amour's Naked Girls Reading
Naked Girls Reading was started in Chicago in March 2009 by international showgirl Michelle L’amour and producer Franky Vivid. At the very first event it was obvious to all in attendance that something big had just happened, something spiritual. Immediately, the press took hold and emails started coming in from cities all over the country from ladies interested in starting their own franchise. Now Boston joins Chicago, L.A., New York, Denver, and a whole host of other great cities as an official Chapter (yes, we said it) of Naked Girls Reading.
